About the products
What does Kinkatsudo sell?
Kinkatsudo sells two mushroom fruiting-body extract capsule supplements: Lion's Mane Extract Capsules (120 capsules, about 60 days) and Cordyceps Extract Capsules (60 capsules, about 30 days).
Where are the products made?
Kinkatsudo products are made in China: both the raw materials and manufacturing are in China, in a GMP-certified facility. The Lion's Mane is grown in Longquan County, Zhejiang; the Cordyceps militaris is grown indoors, without insects, in Gutian County, Fujian. Orders ship from Japan.
What does "100% fruiting body" mean?
It means only the mushroom itself (the fruiting body) is used, with no mycelium and no grain substrate. Kinkatsudo extracts the fruiting bodies and fills the capsules with the concentrated, dried extract powder.
How are the extracts made?
Lion's Mane is extracted in two stages, with hot water and alcohol (dual extraction); Cordyceps is hot-water extracted. Both are concentrated, dried extract powders, not simply ground-up raw mushroom.
How much beta-glucan is in the Lion's Mane?
Kinkatsudo's Lion's Mane extract contains 30% or more beta-glucan, measured with the Megazyme method.
Are there any additives?
No fillers, preservatives or colorants. The capsules are plant-based HPMC, and both products are vegan and gluten-free.
How should I take them?
Take 2 capsules a day with water. There is no set time of day.
Can I take them while pregnant, breastfeeding, or on medication?
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or under a doctor's care, consult your doctor before use. Not for anyone under 18.
What effects can I expect?
These are food supplements. We do not promise any particular effect or timeline; they are meant to be part of a daily health routine.

How much do they cost, per day?
Lion's Mane Extract Capsules are ¥3,980 (120 capsules, about 60 days, about ¥66 a day) and Cordyceps Extract Capsules are ¥3,880 (60 capsules, about 30 days, about ¥129 a day), tax included. Subscriptions are 15% off every delivery.
Is there a first-order discount?
Your first one-time purchase is 10% off with code WELCOME10. It cannot be combined with the 15% subscription discount.
What about shipping?
Shipping is free anywhere in Japan. Orders ship within 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays); prepaid orders such as convenience-store payments ship after payment is confirmed.
How can I pay?
For one-time orders, choose from the card, convenience-store, bank-transfer and other methods shown at checkout. Subscription payment options may differ.
Can I cancel a subscription anytime?
Yes. There is no minimum number of orders; you can skip, change frequency or cancel anytime from your account page. See our subscription policy.
Can I return a product?
Unopened, unused products can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return shipping is at your cost, except for defective or incorrect items. See our refund policy.
